Antique French Bed Low Headboard 4ft Small Double Blue

Originally the footboard to a bed this can be used as a standalone lower size headboard – suitable for use with headless bed frame / platform bed  – it needs to be fixed to a wall.

• It is a comparatively high footboard, but lower than average headboard.
• If you want to create an antique French bed without having a high or enclosed footboard, using just a headboard allows you to do that. Great for smaller rooms, creating that feeling of space or just for long legs.
•  Really heavy in comparison to the majority of our iron beds.
• Circa early 20th century.
• The bed is currently hand painted painted in blue ( as found ) with brass decoration. There are marks, scratches, chips, drips etc in the painting.
• There is a crack in the casting ( photo to be uploaded soon) on the bottom left of the bed. It feels stable and would not be seen.
• You would need your own fixings to attach it to a wall / bed frame / divan.
