• Lovely large single bed, original cream paint with gold highlights added later, and complete, original brass detail.
• Beautiful quality and very heavy bed, this is early 20th Century, 1900 – 1920.
• Some minor rust, lots of chips in the paint.
• Wear to the paint on the headboard consistent with use, the bed had probably been in the same family since purchase.
• This bed can be used as is, and has been thoroughly cleaned. The brass has been lightly cleaned to retain its antique feel.
• The bed fits together well and with ease and is sturdy.
• This bed will take an odd size 3 ft 9″ wide mattress with a standard length of 6 ft 3″ long.
• Comes with a new adjustable bed base which fits perfectly. Supplied with cable ties to secure it to your bed. The ties are easy to use and strong.
• Mattresses can be sourced at most high street or online retailers. This is an odd size width so do investigate options before you buy.
