“Hi Elena, As promised, attached are some photos I took at the weekend showing before, during and after putting the base in. Hope they maybe useful.I decided to leave the original slats in place, I could have taken them out, but it would not have lowered the base that much. The small extra height was not a big deal and the original end slats (moved a little) provided the support for the new base all the way across at the head and foot (hope this makes sense). Our mattress is small double (4ft / 120cm wide and standard length).”
