Original spares and parts are hard to come by, so we decided to commission our own range which would be compatible with the majority of antique beds.
We hold brass parts and spares for new & old brass beds, antique British & French iron beds. Replacement bed bolts used in antique French furniture, commonly in French wooden beds and armoires.

Decorative brass ball finials
Option 1 – Custom threaded brass balls suitable for most antique British & French beds

Available in 2 different size balls. These have been custom made for us and are threaded for use in most British and French metal beds. Not all – but many.

- The smaller brass ball, 12mm in diameter, with 6mm screw thread is more commonly used on French beds.
- The larger 15mm brass ball, again with a 6mm wide thread is usually found on Victorian and other antique British beds.
Option 2 – M6 threaded brass balls suitable for some French beds & modern brass beds

A more cost effective option than the custom thread, but with a metric thread, you might only get a few turns onto your thread if the bed is antique.

Obviously works perfectly if you need the metric thread.

Option 3 – Solid brass balls – create your own thread
Available in two sizes, with diameters of 12mm or 15mm. You can drill and tap your own thread.
