Suitable for French & British Antique Beds
We have designed our replacement brass bedknobs to fit a wide range of French and British antique beds.
Both the smaller and larger bedknobs we stock feature a 9mm cut thread.
In many cases, you can screw the bedknob fully into the bed post. Alternatively, you can turn it sufficiently to hold the bedknob securely in place.
Please note that these bedknobs will not fit every antique bed. Bed post thread design can vary between manufacturers, countries and periods.
Available in Two Sizes
Our replacement brass bedknobs are available in two sizes to suit different antique bed frames:
French antique beds more commonly use the smaller brass bedknob, while antique British Victorian and Georgian beds typically use the larger 3″ diameter bedknob.
You can purchase both sizes individually or as pairs. This makes them suitable whether you need to replace a single missing or damaged bedknob or complete a matching set.
